The Juneau Timber Sale would devastate one of the last legacy forests in the Capitol Hills of Washington State. The Washington Department of Natural Resources (WADNR) utilizes bad and outdated forestry practices that are harming our public lands. Join me on a hike to Mima Falls where I expose the poor forestry practices that are rampant under the current management strategy of the WADNR: Clearcut logging, monoculture plantation forests, and the destruction of older, natural forests.
