I just received this lens belt as a Christmas gift, and the last few nights I've been glad I had it during the huge winter snow storm we're currently experiencing here in the Pacific Northwest. I've found the lens belt to be highly effective. It's a pretty simple device, so I feel comfortable recommending it after only a couple of photo shoots with it.
Here's a few of my favorite astrophotography and Christmas lights images captured with it - a few gaps in the clouds for the stars to shine through are about the best you can ask for here in Western Washington, but I like the dramatic flare that the clouds add to the images. Our Christmas lights did a good job of lighting the foreground trees in some of these photos.
