The Willapa Rainforest




A slow and steady mist drifted amongst the tall trees that cloak the secluded valleys of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge; the moisture amplifying the already vivid green of the rainforest. A rainy afternoon is the ideal time to experience the quintessential dampness of the Pacific Northwest; a place so lush with vegetation and loud with bird song that one might easily image oneself traversing the depths of the Amazon jungle.
